The second week of the MLR was missing some big name players due to the US Eagles involvement in the Americas Rugby Championship. The Eagles had a convincing win over Chile in the opening round of the competition. There was still work to be done in the MLR with 3 games over the weekend.

The stand out performance was for the very impressive NOLA Gold who had a comprehensive win over the Glendale Raptors who were missing 3 key players due to international duty. Taylor Howden in particular shone for the GOLD.
