New England Free Jacks Announce Union Point Stadium as Home Field

The New England Free Jacks today announced that they will play their home games for the 2020 MLR season at Union Point Stadium. Both the Free Jacks and the Union Point complex are working to build a stadium, seating and entertainment infrastructure which will surround the World Rugby certified all weather field.

Free Jacks co-founder and CEO Alex Magleby was keen to state his excitement of the partnership stating “Numerous improvements have been made and are underway at Union Point since last spring, and we will make additional infrastructure investments ahead to continue to build towards a very unique, friendly, and fun fan experience. Moreover, to be able to play on a world class surface in any condition, will help showcase the Free Jacks while providing an incredible home field advantage, as Union Point will also serve as our primary indoor training venue.”

Whilst Union Point will serve as the Free Jacks permanent home going into their inaugural season in the MLR, they are by no means strangers to the venue having hosted RUNY as well as two Cara Cup matches last spring.

The complex is located close to mass transit which connects the facility to downtown Boston in 25 minutes. The Free Jacks are also in the process of finalizing the structure and process to begin their 2020 season ticket sales campaign with more details to follow.
