Week six of Major League Rugby sees all the action take place on Saturday with RUNY travel to Houston to take on the SaberCats, Glendale Raptors at home to the Toronto Arrows and the Utah Warriors hosting NOLA Gold.
Houston SaberCats Vs RUNY
RUNY come off the back of a tough loss to the Seattle Seawolves. In what was a dip in their previous performance levels. RUNY will be hoping for a continued run of form from Ben Foden, who showed his best outing in a RUNY jersey last week.
The SaberCats must get off to a better start than last week’s game against Toronto Arrows in which it took them until the second half to really get into the game. The SaberCats will be hoping for another solid kicking performance from Sam Windsor and also Malacchi Esdale who got on the score sheet and team of the week last week.
Glendale Raptors Vs Toronto Arrows
The Raptors travelled to Utah last week and picked up 2 points in what was the first draw of the season in the MLR. It took them until the second half however to score the first of their 26 points.
The Raptors will need to be quicker out of the blocks against Toronto with Sam Malcolm in fine kicking form, he will be sure to keep the scoreboard ticking over at any given opportunity.
Utah Warriors Vs NOLA Gold
NOLA Gold will be rearing to go against the Warriors having had a week off last week to contemplate their narrow loss to RUNY. NOLA however are still one of the in form teams in the league and a win at the weekend would put them top of the league with 3 points to spare ahead of San Diego Legion.

Utah Warriors on the other hand have won a game, lost a game and drawn a game leaving them in 7th position in the league. Utah will be hoping for Tim O’Malley to continue his fine form and he has proven to be a valuable scoring asset for the Warriors racking up 11 of Utah’s 26 points last week.
